Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity in West Virginia

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a specialized one-week STEMI call block over the July 4th holiday. This role supports a well-staffed department with a strong nursing and tech team, ideal for a provider seeking a procedural-focused assignment with a rapid onboarding timeline.

??Clinical Details & Schedule

• Primary Focus: STEMI call and availability for consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients.
• Procedures: Cath Lab interventions as credentialed (Facility has 2 Cath Labs and 3 Exam Rooms).
• Volume: Historically low; varies from 0 to a few cases per week.
• Support Staff: You will work alongside 2 full-time ICs. The call team consists of 3 RNs and 1 tech (Total department: 7 RNs, 8 techs).
• Orientation: Preferred the day before the first call shift (June 28), depending on MediTech familiarity.
• EMR: MediTech.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Interventional Cardiology.
• Licensure: Active West Virginia (WV) Medical License.
• Timeline: Ability to clear a rapid 10-day credentialing window.
