Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (0800 to 0800) for the following dates:

• June 13, 2025 - June 23, 2025
• July 4, 2025 - July 14, 2025
• August 15, 2025 - August 25, 2025
• September 19, 2025 - September 29, 2025
• October 7, 2025 - October 16, 2025
• November 12, 2025 - November 21, 2025
• December 12, 2025 - December 22, 2025

About the Opportunity:

A rural hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Surgery - General to provide locum call coverage for the specified dates in 2025. This is a call-only opportunity requiring a provider comfortable with performing scopes and managing common GI emergencies such as food bolus impactions and GI bleeds, as deemed appropriate for treatment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing 24-hour on-call coverage for Surgery - General needs from 0800 on the start date to 0800 on the end date for each listed period.
• Responding to calls from the Emergency Department and hospital regarding GI consults and emergencies.
• Performing endoscopic procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy, colonoscopy) for conditions such as food bolus removal and management of GI bleeds, based on your clinical judgment and the hospital's capabilities.

Required Comfort Level: Must be comfortable performing scopes and managing food bolus impactions and GI bleeds as appropriate treatment during call coverage.

Call Schedule: 24-hour call (0800 to 0800) for the specific dates listed above.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
