Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Wisconsin

We are seeking a qualified Hematology & Oncology Physician to provide medical leave coverage for a community-based cancer center in Wisconsin. This 6-month assignment offers a standard weekday clinic schedule, shared call, and a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment.

??Position Overview

• Specialty: Hematology & Oncology
• Start Date: October 1, 2026
• End Date: March 31, 2027
• Coverage Type: Clinic + Shared Call
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break; Overtime applies after 9 hours/day).
• Call Structure: Shared night and weekend call coverage.
• Commitment Preferred: Full-time preferred, but the facility will consider candidates with 2 to 3 weeks per month availability.

Facility & Clinical Practice Highlights

• Practice Setting: Community-based Cancer Center providing both ambulatory clinic care and inpatient hospital consults. On-site radiation oncology services available.
• Infusion Suite: 18 dedicated Chemotherapy infusion chairs plus 2 non-chemo infusion chairs.
• Team Structure: Practice staffed by 2 MDs and 3 Nurse Practitioners (NPs).
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies are performed directly in the Cancer Center (ability/experience with bone marrow biopsies is strongly preferred).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology/Oncology.
• Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) medical license.
• Required Certifications: * BLS, ACLS, ATLS
