We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology physician (strictly Hematology focus, no Medical Oncology) for a full-time, ongoing locum tenens assignment in Marshfield,
Wisconsin. This position offers an integrated team environment with robust clinical support and is targeting a late August start.

- Availability Required: Full-Time Only (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Inpatient Call
Clinical Scope & Responsibilities
- Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies are required.
- Patient Care: The department requires written confirmation of experience with post-Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and potentially post-CAR-T cell therapy patients.
- Inpatient Call Schedule: 1:4 weekly hospital call (Friday 07:30 AM to Friday 07:30 AM).
- Inpatient rounding takes 1–2 hours daily (Mon–Sun), with an additional round from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM on weekdays.
- Call covers acute leukemic patients and inpatient chemotherapy patients. Phone consultation is primary; being physically called back into the hospital is rare.
- Clinic Weekday Call: Shared responsibilities for add-on consults and supervising chemotherapy patients for absent providers. Providers supervise their own patients during standard Chemo Clinic hours.

- Team Structure: Working alongside 3 MDs and 3 APPs.
- Support Staff: Fully supported by RNs, MAs, Nurse Navigators, and dedicated Infusion RNs.
- On-Site Services: Radiation Oncology services available.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner
- Timekeeping Note: The facility requires the use of a "real-time" Mobile Time Clock (GPS preferred).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ATLS
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) medical license
- Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
