We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Emergency Medicine Physician for an immediate and ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in the scenic Northwoods of Wisconsin, providing crucial coverage at regional hospitals.

Location & Setting
- Primary Location: Hospital in Rhinelander, WI.
- Secondary Coverage: Opportunity to provide coverage at two smaller Critical Access Hospitals within thirty minutes.
- Outdoor Lifestyle: This is an ideal assignment for providers who enjoy the outdoors, with access to lakes, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoeing, skiing, and ice fishing.
Schedule & Scope of Work
- Shifts Available: Over 20 shifts per month open. The facility is flexible with the number of locums accepted.
- Coverage Model: Mostly single physician coverage with some shift overlap. The physician is supported by double coverage with two Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
- Admission Rate: Approximately 20%.

Dates needed are 12/7, 12/9, 12/23, 12/24, 12/25, 12/26, 12/27, 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/9, 1/10, 1/11, 1/14, 1/15, 1/16, 1/23, 1/24, 1/25, 1/26, 1/29, 1/30, 1/31, 2/2, 2/3, 2/4, 2/6, 2/7, 2/8, 2/13, 2/14, 2/15, 2/16.
Requirements & Logistics
- Certification: Board Certified (BC).
- Life Support: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
- License: Active Wisconsin (WI) License required.
- Act 10 is acceptable.
- Temporary Privileges: Temps will be available; however, only present physicians with a clean NPDB/file.
