Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in Wisconsin

We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for open shifts starting in March and continuing throughout 2026. This facility features a collaborative dual-provider model and advanced specialty backup to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: ASAP (March 2026 shifts available)
• End Date: Ongoing through 2026
• Volume: 40–60 patients per day (~11,260 annual visits)
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• Credentialing: 30–60 Day

Shift & Support Structure

• Provider Model: Dual Provider Coverage
• APC Support:
• ED APC: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Daily
• Urgent Care (UC) APC: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (M-F); 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends/Holidays)
• Specialty Backup: 24/7 Telecardiology and Telestroke services available for immediate consultation.

Clinical Details

• Coverage Type: Clinic Only (Standard ED Shifts / No Call)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: High-functioning community ED with dedicated Urgent Care support to streamline lower-acuity cases.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) State License.
• Certifications: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with extensive ER experience may be considered).
