Urology Locum Opportunity in Washington

• *Include 4hrs of Gratis on 24hr call

• Start- ASAP - Washington state license must be in hand at time of present. No IMLC at this time. We are going to seek fast track or urgent credentialing.

• Inpatient & Outpatient Setting
• Bed #- 122
• Call  7 days of unrestricted call per month
• Avg. Patients per day- 18
• Procedures- standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room
• Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs)- Applicant must provide documentation (case list) of provision of surgical services (100 procedures) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure and date, and facility where performed. 
• Will the provider work solo? If not, other providers specialties working with them- Yes
• Licensed Candidate: now open to seeing candidates with an IMLC but they must have the letter of qualification in hand as well. It is our understanding that with an LOQ, a Washington license can be issued in less than a week for MD and about 3.5 weeks for DO. 
• Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable)- BLS and ACLS

• Procedures being Performed: Catheter placement, STENT Placement, Cystoscopy, TURP, Ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, Circumcision, Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), Orchiopexy, turbt, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, litholapaxy
• *** Call is restricted/Beeper with a 10' return call response time & a radius of 30 mins (might be 45)
• ***Average After hour text/call 0-4 

Schedule Details:- 

• 1 FTE need
• 8-hour shifts and 24-hour call
• Clinic 0800-1700 M-F, 1:2 Weekend Call (Call x 7days (24h))
• Typical schedule for an MD/DO  is 3 days clinics, 1 day OR and 7 days of 24h call with an admin day (off) in between.
• If MD/DO is taking call for the week, the expectation is that they work at the clinic and call at the same time. Clinic would then be 3 days a week and 1 OR day. This is for the safety of the MD/DO to ensure they have enough rest.
• If MD/DO is not taking call for the week, they would work 0800-1700 ~4 days a week in the clinic and then 1 OR day.
