Hospital is looking for Urology Locum coverage for 3-4 months!
Dates of coverage: Full time M-F starting end of June (as soon as credentialed) for 3-4 months
Schedule: Days 8a-5p night call and 24 hour call required
Details:
- Schedule: M-F with roughly 10 patients per day- Monday-OR(roughly 16 patients per day), Tuesday, Wed, Thursday full day, Friday half day. Provider will be on call for established St Annes urology patients. Call for ER and unassigned patients is a maximum of 1:4. Call is shared with 5 private urologists who are covering urology call for St Annes.
- Minimum length of commitment: 60 days
- Minimum number of shifts: 4-5 days per week, general urology outpatient clinic, office procedures and surgery
- FTE: 1.0
- Setting: 10% inpatient, 90% outpatient
- Duties: General urology patient care in an ambulatory clinic and community hospital. Includes general urology office procedures as indicated: Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy. Schedule and perform OR cases for treatment of BPH, kidney stones, general urology cases.
- Patients per day/volume: 16 clinic patients per day
- Number of surgeries: 1-5 per week
- Percent of practice adults & peds: No pediatric, 100% adult urology. 18 years old and above, can see 16 year old and above occasionally.
- Number of exam rooms: 5 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms
- Call volume: Average of 4-5 calls a day. There are about 3 in person calls per week.
- Admissions: St Anne hospitalist team admits patients. Urology serves as the consulting service.
- Rounding: Urologist comes in 30 min early and does inpatient rounds in the hospital. Has 1-2 patients max at a time. Can also see inpatients during lunch if needed.

- Board Certified Urology - Required
- WA License - Required. CAN consider IMLC with LOQ in hand. MUST STATE IMLC AT NAME CLEAR.
- June ongoing availability - Required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
- Clean background/malpractice - Required to be presented
