We are actively seeking a Board Certified Acute Care Physician for a full-time (1.0 FTE) locum opportunity to cover a provider leave, starting July 9, 2025. This position requires you to be Washington licensed and local to the area. You must also be enrolled in payers before the start date (typically a 60-day processing time).

- Schedule:
- Variable 12-hour call shifts only.
- 14-15 shifts monthly (AM Trauma / PM Trauma).
- Call requirement: Yes, 12-hour shifts.
- Rounding and admissions are both required.
- Hospital System:
- This is a Level 3 trauma hospital with an average daily census of approximately 130 patients.
- Trauma cases requiring surgical intervention are minimal.
- Weekend call averages approximately 4-6 per month.
- The hospital is a tertiary care facility located approximately 25 miles from a major hub.
- Patient volume per day is variable.
- EMR System: You must be a proficient user of Epic.
Requirements
- Specialty: Acute Care (Implied from responsibilities, often a blend of hospitalist/ER/trauma)
- Licensure: MUST BE WA LICENSED AND LOCAL.
- Board Certification: Board Certified (BC).
- Required Certifications: You must hold active ATLS certification, in addition to other certifications required by our Medical Staff Office (MSO).
- Credentialing:
- Expedited credentialing is available (~30 days) if pre-approved by the MSO, with a clean pre-application and state license ready.
- Standard Credentialing: 90 days.
- Standard Privileges: 1.5 years; Temporary Privileges: 120 days.
- Payer Enrollment: Must be enrolled in payers before the start date (allow 60 days for processing).
