We have an URGENT NEED for a Board-Certified (BC) General Surgeon to provide continuous hospital ER call coverage over the Thanksgiving holiday period in Washington State.

• Specialty: Surgery - General
• Start Date: ASAP (Ideally Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 7:00 AM)
• End Date: Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00 AM
• Coverage Type: Call Only (Continuous 24-hour coverage)
• Call Scope: Hospital ER call only
• Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
• EMR: McKesson Paragon
• License: Active WA State License required.
• Credentialing Timeline: ASAP

Schedule & Flexibility

• Primary Block: Tuesday, November 25, 7:00 AM, through Monday, December 1, 7:00 AM.
• Alternative Start: A start on Wednesday, November 26, is an option if needed.
• Travel Preference: Preference is given to candidates already in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) due to the immediate need and potential travel issues over the holidays.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certification (BC) in General Surgery is required.
• Life Support: ACLS is required. ATLS is preferred, but not required.
• DEA: Must hold a WA State DEA.
• History: Must have clean malpractice and NPDB history.
