Psychiatry Locum Opportunity in Washington

Assignment Overview:

We are seeking a Psychiatry Physician to support a medical detox program in Everett, WA. This role focuses specifically on medical stabilization and detox from substances, primarily opiates and alcohol.

Schedule & Availability

• Start Date: ASAP (Pending 30-day credentialing)
• End Date: October 1, 2026
• Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Call Requirements: Approximately two nights of overnight beeper call per week.
• Compensation: Overtime (OT) applies after 40 clinical hours per week.

Clinical Scope & Requirements

• Focus: Medical detox management (Opiates and Alcohol).
• Clinical Expertise: Must be highly familiar with Librium, Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex.
• Specialty Note: While the initial request was listed under Psychiatry, this role is strictly for Addiction Medicine; candidates must have completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship.
• EMR: Proficiency in Epic is required.

Qualifications

• Fellowship: Completion of an Addiction Medicine Fellowship is mandatory.
• Certification: Board Certified (BC).
• Licensure: Active Washington (WA) medical license.
