Locum Pediatric Hospitalist (No Call)

?About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking dedicated and experienced Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team on a locum tenens basis. We are looking to award the equivalent of 4 full-time equivalents (FTEs) in coverage, with additional opportunities available for providers interested in joining a flexible provider pool. Our hospital boasts strong wrap-around specialty support, with over 30 pediatric specialties available for consultation and collaboration. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to focus on inpatient care without any on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care to pediatric patients ranging in age from 0 to 21 years.
• Managing a diverse range of pediatric medical conditions.
• Performing admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilizing the extensive support of over 30 pediatric specialties for consultations and co-management.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington State is highly preferred for earlier start dates. We will consider candidates with licenses in good standing in other states for future needs.
• Clean professional history.
• Experience working as a Pediatric Hospitalist.
• Proficiency in using the Epic EMR system is desirable.
