Pediatric Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Washington

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a three-month assignment in Washington. This role features a manageable patient census and a flexible "shift-stacking" model at a well-equipped Level 3 trauma facility.

Assignment Timeline

• Start Date: June 8, 2026
• End Date: August 31, 2026
• Credentialing: 60–90 Day Timeline

Schedule & Shift Structure

• Shift Type: 24-Hour Shifts (Overnight call taken from home).
• Flexibility: Providers can schedule up to three (3) consecutive 24-hour shifts at a time.
• Coverage Type: Inpatient/Clinic Only (Hospital-based).

Clinical Details & Volume

• Facility: 238-bed Level 3 Trauma Center.
• Peds Unit: 17-bed unit (currently shared with adult Med/Surg overflow).
• Patient Census: Average of 3–6 pediatric patients per shift.
• Consults: Average of 5 ED consults per 24-hour period (typically 3 day / 2 night).
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics.
• Licensure: Active Washington (WA) state license OR eligible via IMLC (Compact).
• Life Support: Active BLS certification.
