Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time, 6-month locum tenens commitment in Edmonds, Washington.
- Licensure: Active Washington (WA) State Medical License or active IMLC required. Active DEA required.
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Hematology, Medical Oncology, or Hem/Onc; active BLS certification.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Shift Breakdown: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Patient care days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with Thursday designated as an Administrative Day.
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 guaranteed hours per day (Overtime threshold applied after 9 hours worked per day).
Clinical Scope & Call Structure
- Clinic Schedule: Outpatient clinic coverage featuring a structured 4-day clinical schedule + 1 dedicated admin day per week.
- Call Structure: Weeknight Beeper Call (M–F evenings) + 24-Hour Weekend Beeper Call.
- Coverage Scope: Outpatient clinic care, inpatient hospital consults, disease management, and emergency on-call response.
