Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Washington

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NP/PA to join our team, focusing on outpatient & inpatient oncology and hematology care. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a balanced work schedule with a focus on patient care and collaboration.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No weekends, no call)
• Focus:
• 60% Oncology (primarily solid tumors)
• 40% Hematology (excluding leukemia, possible lymphoma)
• No procedures required.
• No Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).
• Support: Well-rounded experienced support staff, including Medical Assistants (MAs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).
• EHR: Epic/Beacon experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care to oncology and hematology patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology and hematology principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifcations : ABLS, ACLS, BLS
• Fellowship Preferred.
• Epic/Beacon experience preferred.
