Hematology Oncology Locum Opportunity in Washington

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a unique, full-time opportunity to help establish and grow a relatively new clinic in Everett, Washington. This role is perfect for a provider who enjoys community building and is comfortable shaping the patient experience from the ground up.

Position Overview

• Start Date: April 15, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing (Full-Time)
• Location: Everett, WA
• Primary Focus: Seeing new patients and establishing long-term care plans within the community.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Candidates must be able to fulfill the following call rotation to be considered:

• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Hospital Call: 1:6 Weekend Rotation (24-hour call with rounding on Sat/Sun).
• Clinic Call: 1:2 Weeknight Beeper Call (Every other week). 24-hour weekend call for established clinic patients only.
• Call Volume: Very low census; phone-only availability for clinic patients.
• Compensation: Overtime (OT) applies after 40 clinical hours per week.

Clinical & System Details

• EMR: Epic
• Environment: A growing clinical setting where follow-up visits will increase as the patient base expands.
• Credentialing: 90-day timeline.

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Licensure: Active Washington (WA) Medical License or IMLC.

Attributes: Comfortable working in a "start-up" clinic environment and helping to establish clinical workflows and community trust.
