*Please include 2hrs of Gratis on the 24hr weekend call*
***EP Cardiologist- 1 week a month potentially 2 and coverage will be for clinic, must be willing to work hospital as well. Must be actively working as an EP (if done a few years ago they will not consider)
Needs to be licensed to read Echo, Cardiac Nuclear, TEE, Cardioversion
Nuclear Board Certification is not needed for this position, may have a need for some invasive work like pacemakers
Expected start date: March/April 2026 – expecting to submit for an expedited credentialling, so WA license and DEA must be in hand.
Reason for opening: Gap in coverage

Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient or Both? Both, looking for inpatient support with no outpatient clinic needs.

Call requirement: Yes, on average 1:6
Rounding, admissions, or none? Rounding and admissions. (Inpatient Rounding not expected unless doing some procedures)
Patient demographics: Adult
Average patients per day: 1012 new patients per day (clinic)
Required Procedures: If procedures would be limited to devices at this time
Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs): Applicant must provide documentation of provision of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. EP: Applicant must provide documentation of performance of electrophysiology cases (100) representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested during the previous 24 months
Will provider work solo? If not, other providers specialties working with them: Yes
Licensed Candidate: MUST HAVE WA LICENSE AT TIME OF PRESENTATION, NO IMLC
Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable): BLS, ACLS
EMR: EPIC

This job is EP exclusive, no general cardiology
EP Lab would be limited and may not be needed.
EP Mapping System used is Abbott Ensite.
