Shift Details: Requires weekly availability – prefer not to rotate weeks on/weeks off

Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week – 3 12s and would like Saturdays and Sundays too if they can work weekends 

**ALL TIME OFF REQUESTS must be made upfront


Work Details:

• Locations – Inpatient & Outpatient GI 

• Patient population/age: 13 – end of life

• Department Description: Level 1 trauma center. We have 60 CRNAs, along with about 70 Attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents. The anesthesia team covers 33 OR in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms.

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital bed size: 600

• Skills required: GI experience; job is Medical Direction 

• Cases the clinician will not be doing include: open heart/thoracic, peds, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient & Outpatient 

Requirements:

• Covid & Flu vaccines are required, exemptions will not be approved.

• Board Certification: Required

• License required: Virginia

• DEA: NO

• Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum experience required, preferably academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience. Will consider outpatient-only candidates but would prefer someone with recent experience in inpatient settings. Experience at a level 1 Academic Facility would be a huge bonus, but otherwise prefer to have experience working regularly with ASA 3+ patients
