Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Utah

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Board Eligible Hospitalist for a short-term, high-priority coverage block in Utah. This assignment offers a rapid onboarding process for a provider ready to assist during the transition into the July holiday week.

• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• End Date: July 1, 2026
• Coverage Type: Combined Clinic and Call responsibilities.

Clinical Scope & Privileges

• Patient Population: Management of patients age 12 and older.
• Core Privileges: Includes admission, evaluation, diagnosis, and non-surgical treatment/consultation for inpatient medical care.
• Volume Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate inpatient service provision to at least 25 patients within the past 12 months.
• EMR: Proficiency in MEDHOST is required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE)
• Life Support: Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• CME: Documentation of 10 CME credits in Critical Care or ACLS within the last 2 years.
• Licensure: Active Utah (UT) medical license.
