General Surgery Locum Opportunity in Texas

We are seeking a Board-Eligible (BE) General Surgeon for an ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in Texas, focused on providing weekend call coverage to manage increased call volume.

• Coverage Type: Call Only (Weekend Call)
• EMR: Athena & Meditech
• License: Active Texas (TX) License required.
• Credentialing Timeline: 45 Days

Schedule & Scope of Work

• Schedule: Weekend Call to help cover with Call Volume. Mostly ER call and Inpatient work with possibility of some outpatient work. Call shifts will generally be 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday twice a month.
• Scope: The coverage will primarily involve ER call and Inpatient work, with the possibility of some outpatient work.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Eligible (BE).
• Life Support: BLS required.
