Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Texas

Assignment Overview

We are seeking two Board Certified General Anesthesiologists for a long-term contract in Texas. This position focuses on medical direction and general surgical cases, with no requirement for cardiac or specialized pediatric anesthesia.

Key Dates & Schedule

• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: December 31, 2026
• Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 10-hour shifts are acceptable.
• Commitment: Minimum of 3 weeks per month.
• Call: Negotiable and not required. If taken, call is from home (beeper), not in-house.

Clinical Scope & Environment

• Case Mix: General anesthesia; no cardiac, no premies, and no neonates.
• Procedures: Must be highly comfortable with Regional Anesthesia.
• Model: Primarily MD supervising CRNAs; occasional solo work required.
• Pediatrics: Pediatric experience is a plus but not a requirement for this role.
• EMR: Proficiency in Cerner is required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification: Board Certified (BC).
• Licensure: Active Texas (TX) medical license.
• Candidate Note: The facility will not consider local candidates at this time.
