Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in South Carolina

Coverage Details: 

•  Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc):  7:30a-3p OP procedures; 3p-5p IP rounding/procedures (10hr per day, total 7a-5p)
• Frequency of any Call needed: No call.
• Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc) Monday-Friday 7a-5p

Coverage needed: 

• May 4–8: 2 GI providers
• May 11–15: 3 GI providers
• May 18–22: 3 GI providers
• May 25–29: 3 GI providers
• June 1–5: 2 GI providers

Work Details: 

• Department Description: It is an outpatient endoscopy center and then going in the hospital for consults and potential procedures. Floating between two facilities, right across the street from one another. 
• Patient Volume:  3-5 per day, 2-3 procedures per week
• Patient Age Group: adults
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: ERCP/EUS are NOT required, no advanced procedures needed

Requirements: 

• Are Board Certifications Req’d?:  Yes
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: SC
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): Both
• Specific Skills Req’d?: upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, consults
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): 2 years minimum experience
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: name clear + NPI, clean backgrounds ONLY
• Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: ~60-90 days, with clean backgrounds
