Vascular Surgery Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Shift Schedule : 

• Locums Shift Schedule: M-F 8-5, Sat-Sun Round and then call x 48 hrs Call Schedule and Responsibilities: 1:2 weeknight call and every other weekend 
• Target start date and Length of need: ASAP until permanent replacement is found

Job Description : 

• Specialty: Vascular surgery 
• EMR system: EPIC 
• Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage FTE or Shifts per month needed: 1.0/ can be split between providers 
• Trauma Level + # of beds: No trauma- 347 bed hospital 

Requirements : 

• Type of patients / cases / procedures required: AAA, peripheral angios/intervention, CEAs, TECARS, EVARS, fistulas, amputations 
• Required Experience in: Vascular surgery 
• Average daily census: 10-12 inpatient/ 22 office patients 
• Available support staff: APPs, RNs, Mas
• Certifications required (Board Certification/Board Eligible or life support, etc.): board certified- vascular surgery, ACLS/BLS 
• Will you accept licensure candidates (IMLC or standard process)? Strongly prefer PA licensed candidates; Yes - will consider IMLC candidates with Letter of Qualification in hand Minimum candidate commitment to consider: 2 weeks per month 
• Hospital Privileging: 6-8 weeks after application is submitted for clean files only
• Any malpractice/background will require legal review and may not be eligible for locums privileges
