We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist for an immediate, ongoing assignment in Pennsylvania. This position is structured as a convenient 1-week-per-month rotation, combining a full scope of inpatient care, outpatient clinic work, and critical diagnostic procedures.
?Clinical Details & Schedule
- Frequency: 1 week per month (Ongoing).
- Schedule Structure: 5 days on-campus (Clinic/Inpatient) + weekend call coverage.
- Call Profile: 24/7 day and night call coverage bundled during the service week.
- Volume: Average of 4 phone consults per day.
- Scope of Practice: * Management of inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology cases.
- Perform Bronchoscopies.
- Manage inpatient consultations, including occasional ICU consults (not exclusively an ICU role).
- EMR: Cerner.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License is required for an immediate start. Valid federal DEA is mandatory.
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and PALS certifications.
Timeline & Logistics
Credentialing: Standard 90-day process (IMLC accepted, but active PA license is heavily prioritized for immediate boarding).
