Pediatrics Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist for a recurring monthly rotation in Pennsylvania. This role provides high-level neonatal care within a Level III NICU, supported by a robust 24/7 in-house mid-level team.

?Clinical Details & Schedule

• Frequency: Approximately one week (7 days) per month.
• In-House Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for NICU rounding and outpatient clinic.
• Call Profile: 24/7 pager call while on assignment (Off-site/Out-house).
• Response Time: 20-minute emergency response required.
• Outpatient Clinic: Every Thursday (located at the hospital); max 7 patients.
• Volume: * Average Daily Census: 9–11 infants.
• NICU Admissions: ~20 per month.
• Deliveries: Attends High-Risk only (including high-risk C-sections).

Facility Profile

• NICU Level: III A (16–20 beds).
• Trauma Level: 1.
• Support Staff: 5 Mid-levels (NP/PA) in-house 24/7 and one full-time Neonatologist.
• EMR: Epic.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License.
• Life Support: Must hold active ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Communication: Must be comfortable using facility-provided pager and Spectra Link phone.
