Locum Hematology and Oncology - Clinic Procedures Only (No Call)

Schedule: Weekday hours, specific schedule to be determined based on clinic needs and provider availability. 

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a skilled Hematology and Oncology provider to offer locum coverage focused on performing specific outpatient procedures. This is a clinic-only role with no on-call responsibilities, providing an opportunity to utilize your procedural skills in a focused setting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing bone marrow biopsies.
• Performing intrathecal chemotherapy administration via Omaya reservoir and lumbar punctures.
• Performing skin biopsies.
• Performing port access and de-access.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the clinic.

Required Procedures:

• Bone marrow biopsies
• Intrathecal Omaya reservoir access and lumbar punctures
• Skin biopsies
• Port access and de-access

Coverage Type: Clinic Only (No Call).

Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Hematology and Oncology.

EMR System: Cerner
