Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) with a 1-hour lunch break.

About the Opportunity:

Health services is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity that will provide coverage across three of our Family Medicine Center. Please ensure you are comfortable with traveling between these three locations to be considered for this position. This role focuses solely on outpatient Family Medicine care, with no inpatient rounding or responsibilities for precepting residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine care to patients of all ages (as per standard Family Medicine scope).
• Seeing up to 16 patients per day (8 in the morning session, 8 in the afternoon session).
• Conducting patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Prescribing medications as appropriate.
• Providing patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease management.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the EMR system [Insert EMR System Name Here if known].

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) with a 1-hour lunch break.

Patient Volume: Up to 16 patients per day.

Inpatient/Precepting: No inpatient rounding or precepting resident responsibilities.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine.
