Schedule Structure: 12-Hour, 16-Hour, or 24-Hour Shifts (Weekly schedule set at facility discretion)
Guaranteed Hours: 36-Hour Work Week Guaranteed
Coverage Type: Procedural & Surgical Anesthesia (No On-Call Requirements)
Minimum Commitment: 2 Days per Week or 2 Weeks per Month
Credentialing Timeframe: 6–8 Weeks (Temporary privileges available)
??Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified CRNA for full-time locum coverage within Pittsburgh, PA.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State RN/APRN License required (Will consider licensing candidates with long-term ongoing availability). PA Child Abuse Clearance required.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Anesthesia Care Model: Supervision ratio 1:3 working under Anesthesiologist direction (No Anesthesiologist Assistants utilized).
- Cross-Privileging: Primary assignment at Hospital with secondary privileging at Hospital or southern regional sites.
Facility & Case Scope
- Facility Overview: 289-bed hospital system featuring 12 main ORs, 8 off-site procedural suites, and 2 dedicated OB suites.
- Case Mix: Night shifts feature a heavy concentration of OB cases, along with a light general mix of General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Neuro, Urology, and GI.
