Practice & Facility Details

  • 12 total exam rooms (9 dedicated to medical oncology)
  • Infusion center with 16 chairs and 2 private infusion rooms
  • Fully integrated, onsite cancer center
  • Multidisciplinary support including:
  • Advanced Practice Providers
  • RN Navigators
  • Social Workers
  • Dieticians
  • Oncology Pharmacist
  • Research and Genetics services

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology care
  • Manage new consultations (30–45 minutes) and follow-up visits (15–20 minutes)
  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncology, surgical specialists, and hospital teams
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
  • Inpatient care supported by private practice APPs
  • No required procedures

Call & Schedule

  • Outpatient clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • After-hours answering service; only urgent calls are escalated
  • Additional compensation for weekend call
  • Call is only for MCGC location
  • No heavy inpatient call burden
  • We need someone to start is as soon as possible (March), and full time is preferred.  If there is limited availability (2 days per week) the person must be available to respond to calls from staff regarding their patients. The assignment length initially is anticipated through June

  • Board Certified (ABMS board-certified or board-eligible)[REQUIRED]
  • Active OH license, not accepting IMLC due to urgency of need [REQUIRED]
  • Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams[REQUIRED]
  • Self query NPDB[REQUIRED]
  • Clean Background[REQUIRED] no exceptions
  • Internationally trained physicians welcome if ABMS certified [REQUIRED]
  • Ideal candidate is someone wanting a long term assignment[REQUIRED]
