Health System is seeking a Locum Endocrinologist to start as soon as possible!
Schedule:
- Part-time beginning immediately through the end of August
- May require some hours into September depending on need
- Telehealth strongly preferred, but onsite also an option
- No call responsibilities
Procedures:
- Required Procedures: General endocrinology care only; no procedures outside typical endocrinology scope
- Types of Cases: General endocrinology, diabetes management
Patients:
- Average patient load: ~2 patients/hour
- Pediatric patients: No
Other Details:
- Reason for Need: Gap in coverage between previous Endocrinologist and new full-time provider starting in August
- Support Staff: Nurse and MA
- Sole Provider: No, but will be the only Endocrinologist during this period
- Open to locum-to-perm candidates as well as strictly locum
- References Required: At least two, preferably including a recent locum assignment if applicable
- Licensure: Must have active Ohio license (due to quick start timeline)
- Location Preference: Candidates from Ohio or nearby driving distance are preferred
Submission Requirements

- OH State license – Required (due to short turnaround)
- Board Certification in Endocrinology – Required
- Local providers or those within driving distance – Highly Preferred
- Telehealth candidates – Acceptable; onsite preferred
- Must be able to manage a general endocrinology patient panel independently – Required
- Must be able to start as soon as possible and commit through end of August

- Have they worked a locums assignment before?

- Explanation of any gaps 2 months or more within the last 10 years, or since completion of training
- At least 2 references and their contact information *If they have recently worked a locum assignment, please provide a reference from that facility*
