?Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist to support a robust cardiology practice in Ohio across targeted week-long coverage blocks in late summer/early fall 2026.
- Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) State Medical License or active IMLC required.
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiovascular Disease; active ACLS and BLS.
- EHR System: MEDITECH.
- Team Structure: Collaborative environment with patient volume split alongside experienced, independent Nurse Practitioners.
- Work-Life Balance: Weekday-only coverage with zero weekend call duties.
Coverage Schedule & Daily Workflow
Candidates are asked to submit availability for the following Monday–Friday blocks:
- Week 1: August 31 – September 4, 2026
- Week 2: September 14 – September 18, 2026
- Week 3: September 21 – September 25, 2026
Daily Responsibilities:
- 7:00 AM Start: Morning check-in and review with the Cardiovascular Testing department.
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Inpatient hospital rounding, consultative care, and cardiac test interpretations.
- Call Structure: Weeknight call coverage (M–F evenings); no weekend commitments.
