Hospital is seeking a locum Emergency Medicine APP to join their team at Memorial Hospital overseeing the observation unit!
Job Description:
- Overseeing the Observation unit which consists of 2-3 patients- Will accept new grads
- Position available immediately with coverage required as soon as possible.
- 12-hour shifts- day and night shifts- provider must be flexible
- This facility does not include a fast-track area in the emergency department.
- Current documentation system: EPIC
- Census - 26 patients per day, 9500 per year
- Shift hours - either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Is it a single physician coverage? Single provider
- When not rounding in the Obs unit, the APP will be assisting in the ER as extra hand under the supervision of the ED physician
- Rural ED
