Description

We are seeking a Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide short-term vacation coverage for a hospital-based outpatient clinic in New Mexico. You will work in a collaborative environment with Medical Oncology on-site, utilizing high-end Varian technology.


?Clinical Details & Schedule

  • Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Call Profile: Emergency call coverage required.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of outpatient radiation treatments.
  • New patient consultations and follow-ups.
  • Participation in Physician Peer Review.
  • Technology & Systems:
  • Equipment: Varian Truebeam Edge and Vitalbeam.
  • Treatment Planning: Eclipse.
  • EMR: Mosaiq (Oncology) and MediTech (Hospital).


Requirements

  • Licensure: Active New Mexico (NM) Medical License.
  • Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Radiation Oncology.
  • Life Support: Active BLS certification.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Mosaic and Varian systems is highly preferred.


Timeline & Logistics

  • Credentialing: 45–60 days.
  • Start Date: August 21, 2026.
