Internal Medicine / Family Practice Locum Opportunity in New Mexico

• Dates of Coverage: September, on-going while recruiting for a perm provider
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm.  No late clinic, no call and no after-hours charting
• Call Coverage: No
• # of Providers Needed: 1
• Reason for Coverage: Covering until we hire a full-time physician
• Clinic setting
• Leadership Position/Required to Teach: No

• Patient Population: Full-spectrum family medicine; babies to retirees.  If Internal Medicine, they can see 18+ and the FNPs can see the pedi patients.
• % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% out-patient
• Average # of Patients Per Day: 8-14
• Trauma Level Designation: N/A
• Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, Perform comprehensive physical examinations, Develop individualized treatment plans, Promote wellness and preventive care, Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate, Order and interpret diagnostic testing, Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified OR Truly Board Eligible Candidates-Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine [REQUIRED]
• NM State license [Required]
• BLS, DEA [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience [REQUIRED]
• Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions [REQUIRED]
