Internal Medicine / Family Practice Locum Opportunity in New Jersey

Hospital is seeking 1 Locum Family Practice Physician in Rio Grande, NJ

• Practice Setting: Primary Care / Family Practice
• Dates of Coverage: As soon as credentialed, ongoing
• Reason for Coverage: Provider departure
• Interested in: Locum or Locum-to-Perm
• Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level II
• Will You Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? Yes – New Jersey license required

??Schedule:

• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No call, no inpatient responsibilities, no ED backup

Required Procedures:

• Adult outpatient care
• EKG interpretation
• Disability exams (occupational medicine)

Supervision:

• Not required to supervise other healthcare providers
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Submission Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine – [REQUIRED]
• Active New Jersey Medical License – [PREFERRED] (can obtain prior to start)
• BLS Certification – [REQUIRED]
• Experience in Adult Outpatient Care – [REQUIRED]
• Proficiency in EKG Interpretation – [REQUIRED]
• Experience Performing Disability Exams (Occupational Medicine) – [PREFERRED]
• Experience with Cerner EMR – [PREFERRED]
• Experience in a Primary Care / Outpatient Clinic Setting – [PREFERRED]
• NPDB Self-Query report (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED], required at the time of presentation
