Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in North Dakota

Emergency Medicine Locum Position in Williston, ND-$300 Hourly

Hospital is in need of EM coverage. This will be ongoing coverage and can have no gaps. Current schedule is 2 providers per 24 hours working 12 hour shifts.

Start Date: As Soon As Credentialed- Ongoing

APP Schedule: Coverage is supplemented with employed APPs that work 10a-10p.

Open Dates:

• June 1-3 (6am-6pm)
• June 13-16 (6am-6pm)
• June 23 (6am-6pm)
• June 28-29 (6pm-6am)
• July 3-9 (6am-6pm)
• August 1-4  (6pm-6am)
• August 10&11 (6am-6pm)
• August 28-31 (6pm-6am) 

Submission Requirements:

• Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS
• Board Certified - ABEM required
• Active ND license or IMLC required - license preferred        

Details:

• 1.5-2 patients per hour on average
• 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours
• EMR - Meditech
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• A minimum of 250 case logs in the last year
• The state of ND requires ATLS for any EM provider practicing in the state
• Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and Pediatric resuscitation).
• Feels more like a big hospital, but it's actually a critical access hospital. A lot of support staff that you find at a bigger hospital.
• Credentialing timeline; 4 weeks, or shorter. Will do temps.
• Mid-levels work 12 hours a day 10-10p. On Mondays, they have 2 APPs due to higher census.
• Client would prefer local candidates and will prioritize those over travel candidates.
