?We are seeking a Board Certified (BC) Emergency Medicine Physician with an active North Carolina license for an ongoing, no-call locum tenens opportunity, starting as soon as possible.

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts for solo ER coverage. We need to fill the following shifts:
- Sunday, June 1, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Tuesday, June 10, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Wednesday, June 11, 2025: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday, June 13, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Saturday, June 14, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Friday, June 27, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Saturday, June 28, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Sunday, June 29, 2025: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Work Environment:
- You will be the sole physician on duty, with support from two mid-level providers who split coverage.
- You will work in an open ICU.
- The hospital has 22 beds.
- Annual patient volume is 32,000, with a daily volume of 90-100 patients.
- Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift.
- Housing: The hospital will provide housing in hospital-owned apartments.
- EMR System: We utilize Meditech 6.1 for our electronic medical records.
Requirements
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC).
- Licensure: You must have an active North Carolina (NC) license.
- Credentialing: You must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
- Certifications: Active ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
