Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in North Carolina

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for solo coverage in a North Carolina facility. This high-volume environment requires a provider comfortable with independent management and an open ICU setting.

?Available Shifts

• August 1 & 2: 7A–7P (Day) and 7P–7A (Night)
• August 3 & 4: 7P–7A (Night)
• August 14 & 15: 7P–7A (Night)

Clinical Details

• Daily Volume: 90–100 patients total; individual physicians typically see 18–20 patients per shift.
• Annual Volume: 32,000 visits.
• Support: Open ICU; 1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage.
• EMR: Meditech 6.1.
• Accommodations: The physician will be housed in hospital-owned apartments for the duration of the shifts.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License.
• Enrollment: Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS (Mandatory).
• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
• Timeline: Ability to clear a rapid 14-day credentialing window.
