Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a series of 12-hour shifts in North Carolina this July. This role involves standard solo ER coverage within a facility that sees an annual volume of approximately 32,000 patients.


?Available Shifts

  • Night (7P–7A): Tuesday, July 21 | Tuesday, July 28
  • Day (7A–7P): Friday, July 24 | Saturday, July 25 | Sunday, July 26


Clinical Environment & Volume

  • Setting: Standard solo ER coverage.
  • Patient Volume: Facility sees 90–100 patients daily; individual physicians typically see 18–20 patients per 12-hour shift.
  • ICU Status: Open ICU.
  • Support Staff: 1 Physician with 2 Mid-level providers providing split coverage.
  • EMR: MediTech 6.1.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) license.
  • Mandatory Enrollment: Providers must be NC Medicaid credentialed and currently enrolled in PECOS.


Logistics & Onboarding

  • Lodging: Physicians will be housed in hospital-owned apartments.
  • Credentialing: Expedited 14-day timeline.
