Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity in Montana

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for targeted weekend coverage in Montana. This role is strictly focused on Cath Lab procedures and STEMI response, with no general hospital rounding required.

• Initial Dates: * June 11: Orientation
• June 12–14: Weekend Coverage
• July 24–26: Weekend Coverage
• Frequency: Weekend coverage only.
• Future Potential: Opportunity for ongoing monthly weekend rotations.

Clinical Scope & Volume

• Focus: Cath Lab coverage only. No general cardiology hospital coverage or clinic is required.
• Volume: The facility averages 5–10 cases and 10–15 STEMIs per month.
• EMR: Proficiency in Cerner is required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Specialty Note: While initially requested under General Cardiology, this position requires Interventional Cardiology training/skills for STEMI management.
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE).
• Life Support: Active BLS certification.
• Licensure: Active Montana (MT) medical license.
