Trauma Surgery Locum Opportunity in Missouri

We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified Surgical Critical Care Physician for an ASAP locum opportunity in St. Louis, Missouri.

Important: This is a Surgical Critical Care / ICU assignment, not a standard Trauma Surgery position. Surgical Critical Care fellowship training and Board Certification in Surgical Critical Care are REQUIRED. Trauma experience alone will not meet the requirement.

Position Details

• Clinical Scope: Surgical ICU/Critical Care, Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, Trauma ICU & Trauma Neuro ICU
• Dates Needed – Nights: Nov 9–11 & Dec 7–20
• Coverage: One provider needed for each listed period
• Board: BC in Surgical Critical Care
• Fellowship: Surgical Critical Care fellowship required
• Certifications: ACLS & BLS
• IMLC: Candidates accepted
• Start: ASAP

Facility

Level I Trauma Center with approximately 90,000 annual ED visits and 1,800–2,000 trauma activations, supported by 30 ORs, dedicated trauma/acute care surgical resources, and robust Interventional Radiology.

Rates

• Regular: $250/hr
• Callback: $250/hr
• Night Call/Beeper: $275/hr
• Holiday: 1.5x
• Orientation: $150/hr

Ideal candidate: A physician with Surgical Critical Care fellowship + BC in Surgical Critical Care, who is experienced in managing critically ill trauma and surgical patients in the ICU.
