Required Call Schedule
The assignment requires coverage for the following two blocks:
- Weekend Call: December 5th (7:00 AM) to December 8th (7:00 AM)
- Holiday Call: December 27th (7:00 AM) to December 31st (7:00 AM)
Scope of Duties
The physician will manage both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including:
- Inpatient/Nursery: Rounding on newborns and performing circumcisions.
- Emergency/Consults: Handling phone calls from the ED, providing ED consults, and performing occasional stabilize and transfer for high-acuity cases.
- Clinic: Providing care to pediatrics primary clinic patients.
- Annual Volume: The facility has an annual census of approximately 296 births.
Required Certifications
Candidates must hold the following certifications:
- BC (Board Certified)
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, ABLS
