We are seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician for a recurring "Call Only" engagement in Southwest Missouri. The ideal candidate is a provider who enjoys a mix of critical care and pulmonary medicine and resides within driving distance or near major regional hubs.
Position Overview
- Start Date: April 20, 2026
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Volume: 12–14 shifts monthly (variable based on facility needs)
- Location: Near Joplin (JLN), Springfield (SGF), or NW Arkansas (XNA)
Clinical & System Details
- EMR: Epic (Experience is required)
- Scope: 24-hour pulmonary and critical care call coverage.
- Travel Preference: Priority given to candidates within driving distance or those with direct flight access to JLN, SGF, or XNA airports.
Candidate Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in both Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS.
- Licensure/Registration: * Active Missouri (MO) Medical License.
- Active Missouri BNDD (Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs) and DEA.
- Credentialing: 90-day timeline.
