Neurological Surgery Locum Opportunity in Missouri

A Missouri-based health system is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon to join their rotation. This is a collaborative position where the locum provider will work alongside an established group to provide consistent monthly coverage.

??Schedule & Workload

• Frequency: 7–10 days per month.
• Weekend Commitment: 1 weekend per month (Friday 07:00 – Monday 07:00).
• Call Format: 24-hour call; in-house stay is NOT required.
• Response: Provider must be available to come in for surgical cases as needed.
• Census: Average daily census of 25–50 patients.
• Caseload Mix: Approximately 70% Consults | 30% On-Service.
• Admissions: Rare admissions via the ED (estimated 1–2); primarily functions as a consultant.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neurological Surgery.
• Life Support: Active ATLS and PALS certifications.
• Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) license or IMLC.
• EMR: Epic.
• Credentialing: 60–90 days.
