We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for a recurring call-only engagement in Missouri. This role offers a consistent monthly rotation within a collaborative group setting, ideal for a surgeon looking to supplement their schedule with high-level consults and surgical cases.
Position Overview
- Start Date: April 1, 2026
- End Date: December 31, 2026
- Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Only
- Availability Needed: 7–10 days per month.
- Specific Rotation: Includes one 24-hour weekend call per month (Friday 0700 – Monday 0700).
Clinical Environment & Volume
- Daily Census: 25 – 50 patients.
- Patient Mix: Primarily a consultant role (70% Consults / 30% Patients on service).
- Admissions: Rare (approx. 1–2 via ED); the team mostly functions in a consultative capacity.
- Response Requirement: In-house presence is not required unless called in for surgery.
- EMR: Epic.
Candidate Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neurological Surgery.
- Life Support: Active ATLS and PALS certifications.
- Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) Medical License or IMLC.
- Credentialing: 60 – 90 days.
