Position Highlights & Requirements

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for ongoing monthly call coverage in Missouri. While multiple providers may be considered, preference is given to a single surgeon who can cover both primary initial blocks.

• Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) State Medical License required.
• Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiothoracic Surgery, active ACLS, ATLS, and BLS.
• EHR System: EPIC.
• Coverage Scope: Daily inpatient rounding, emergency and unassigned call coverage, and surgical intervention as required.

Initial 2026 Call Coverage Blocks

• October Block: October 16 (7:00 AM) – October 19 (7:00 AM)
• November Block: November 18 (7:00 AM) – November 23 (7:00 AM) (Ongoing dates to follow as permanent recruitment continues)
