Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist with post-residency experience in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry to join an inpatient consult service team in Minnesota.
- Licensure: Active Minnesota (MN) and Wisconsin (WI) Medical Licenses and DEAs required (or active IMLC eligibility for dual licensure).
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Psychiatry.
- Experience Required: Prior post-residency experience performing hospital-based psychiatric consult services.
- EHR System: EPIC.
?Clinical Scope & Workflow
- Primary Responsibilities: Primarily inpatient psychiatric consults on medical units within the main hospital, alongside light Emergency Department coverage (ED consults are predominantly handled by APPs).
- Tele-Consults: Occasional, intermittent tele-psychiatry consult support provided to regional affiliate hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
