Radiology Locum Opportunity in Michigan

We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Diagnostic Radiologist for a long-term, 100% remote Locum Tenens position providing dedicated Emergency Department (ED) overnight coverage.

• End Date: June 1, 2026
• Coverage Type: Clinic Only (Remote Teleradiology)
• Call Requirement: No Call
• EMR: Cerner
• License: Active Michigan (MI) License required.
• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 Days

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: ED Overnight, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST (8-hour shift).
• Commitment: 2–3 weeks of coverage needed per month. Will consider candidates who can cover a minimum of 1 week per month (at least 7 shifts per month).
• Workload: Average number of ED cases per 8-hour shift is 80–120.

Scope of Work & Environment

• Coverage: Primarily interpreting Emergency Department studies.
• Resident Teaching: Resident teaching is required during the shift.
• Team: The provider will work with 2–3 residents overnight and only 1 attending radiologist (the locum).

Requirements & Logistics

• Certification: Board Certified (BC).
• Life Support: BLS is not required if working remotely.
• DEA: This position does not require a DEA, but will require a DEA waiver.
• Malpractice/Background: Clean Malpractice History Required. An NPDB report, pulled within the last 30 days, must be ensured at the time of submission.
