We are seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist for a long-term assignment in Michigan, beginning with a dedicated two-week block in July. The role involves managing high-acuity neonatal conditions and performing critical bedside procedures in a fast-paced NICU environment.
?Clinical Details & Schedule
- Initial Block: July 13 (6:00 AM) – July 28 (6:00 AM).
- Future Coverage: Strong potential for recurring and ongoing shifts.
- Scope of Practice:
- Management of RDS, intrauterine growth restriction, jaundice, sepsis, and critically ill newborns.
- High-level ventilator management including Oscillators and iNO.
- Therapeutic Thermal Cooling.
- Essential Procedures: * Intubation and Chest Tube placement.
- Central Line placement and Paracentesis.
- Spinal Taps and Exchange Transfusions.
- EMR: Cerner.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) Medical License.
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Life Support: Active PALS certification.
- Communication: Must excel in providing compassionate guidance and clear communication to families in high-stress situations.
