Internal Medicine / Family Practice Locum Opportunity in Michigan

Facility is looking for temporary coverage until a hired provider is able to start - MD/DO for role - only 1 provider is needed 

• Tentative start date- August 3, 2026.  Estimated need 12 weeks minimum
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: range of 18-22 per day 
• Number of Physicians in Practice:  For primary care, 5 physicians
• How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage:  4
• Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers?  No
• Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Expected to Provide Backup for the ED? No
• Number of Exam Rooms:  2-3 
• Documentation System/EMR:  EPIC
• Practice Population:  Adult/Geriatric
• Required General Procedures: ["Evaluation and Mgmt. of Acute Volume / BP Issues"]
• Required Gynecology Procedures: ["Pelvic Exam / Pap Smear"]
• Required Occupational Medicine Procedures:  ["Disability Exams"]
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:  We will do temporary privileges - 10 business days 

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 3 years after finishing) - [REQUIRED]
• 1 year of Primary Care experience - [REQUIRED]

• Must be available Full Time M-Thurs - [REQUIRED]
